Abstract

Cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) and high atherothrombotic risk are two distinct vascular pathologies with overlapping risk factors. This study investigates the differentiation of risk factors between patients with CSVD and those with high atherothrombotic risk without cerebrovascular disease. A comprehensive analysis of clinical, lifestyle, and biomarker data was conducted among two cohorts to identify unique risk factors for each condition. Findings reveal crucial insights into the pathogenesis of CSVD and its differentiation from atherothrombotic risk, offering potential implications for preventive and therapeutic strategies.
